The aquisition is the most effective action to obtain the concrete conservation and integrity of the priority habitat and species insisting on the SIC “Stagno di Pilo Casaraccio” (ITB 010002) the ZPS “Stagno di Pilo, Casaraccio and Saline di Stintino” (ITB 013012) where are present Garzetta Egretta garzetta, Cavaliere d’Italia Himantopus himantopus, Fraticello Sterna albifrons, Sterna comune Sterna hirundo.
Moreover, by acquiring the area will be guaranteed a constant protection and conservation, a major control of the sites, a concrete possibility of reduction of speculative actions and anthropic disturb.
