Detailed situation of the target species.

The situation of the target species in the Life area and in its immediate vicinity is believed to have improved in a stable manner and the purpose of attracting nesting species in a safe area for reproduction should be considered fully achieved.
The reproductive success of Common Tern, Little Tern and Black-winged Stilt is over 80%.
The population of Common Tern has almost trebled, while the Little Tern, despite having only a few numbers increasing, finally has a stable reproductive success in an area protected from human and animal disturbance.
In conclusion direct interventions of Conservation phase “C” of the entire Project Life + STeRNA and the communication efforts tend to undo the causes that led to the decline and, at times, to the full reset of the reproductive success of these sensitive species.
